I've got a mole problem

Not sure what happened after that hard winter but ever since I have had a serious mole problem.  Little mounds of dirt everywhere and my lawn looks polka dot.   Friends tell me to poison the grubs they eat.  Can anyone suggest a good brand of poison or a better way of dealing with these destructive critters?  Who here has dealt with them before?

My neighbor uses mouse traps.I use my swimming pool. I fished 2 out this morning. Between the 2 of us we must kill 25-30 every summer and they just keep coming, I tried the grub killer in the past but it didn't seem to help one bit..

Good luck.

any granular or liquid pesticide containing imidacloprid (merit), trichlorfon dimethyl phosphate (dylox) or carbaryl (sevin) will kill them.  make sure they are watered into the soil esp merit and dylox because they are photodegradable.

those three are top choices with imidacloprid being the best, but other things such as synthetic pyrethroids will work but not as good.  trade names are in (), and the ai is first.
