Tio1
My son and I built two today in the rain. Used nothing but what the woods provided. My 13 yr old said, "Dad this is cool". Good times Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
growalot
I love building brush blinds and fences...Mr B calls them my open air cabins....I refer to them as my nests...I always make them huge and tall enough to put a plastic armed lawn char in them for comfort.... grampy
Natural ground blinds are my #1 way to hunt! In my opinion, nothing beats being on the same level as the deer you hunt! And to have a young hunter help build it and share it with you during the season, makes it all the better. Best of luck to you and your son this season! buckmaster9
Hope you have a good time with your son hunting there's nothing like being on ground level with a whitetail. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
NFA-ADK
That is cool! Love a natural blind. Made by father and son = hunting fort! Awesome! Good luck this year!
Doc
Some of the more than 110 permanent ground stands that I have built over the years. Some of these are over 20 years old, and just refreshed a bit each year. My "almost guaranteed" gun stand Hard to see the stand, of course that's the idea ...lol. Shooting lane for above stand Some stands are already put there for me...lol: This tree is 4' in diameter This old beech overlooks a mineral seep. Almost like a treestand overlooking that "seep" below.
