Moving threads to the political forum

I moved it. I did so because it headed in an almost immediate political direction, and I felt thats where it belongs. Sorry if you dont like it, but the political forum is only a "wasteland" because certain people have made it that way.

 

I appreciate that WNY.  If it's not too much to ask, why was the thread about the college shootings not also moved, as it appears to have all of the same qualities to it.  I understand you can move any thread you want, but why not that one too?

I actually see Mr VJP's point. The shooting in Chicago is in an over all sense political, as it goes into gun laws and rights and so on. I also see why the thread he made was moved as well, it took a left turn fast and everyone followed and the entire topic turned south. It did get political and the original theme of hunters bashing one another went straight out the window after just a few posts.

The staff here have a right to do as they see fit with the site though, we are mere members here just like being a patron at a store. If not happy we can leave.

wny.... it's simply a case of people not understanding what a private entity is. we are all guests here. if we chose to stay, we play by the owners rules.. period.

It is a privately-held site, you agreed to terms, expressed or implied, signing up/using the private forum.

 

we've mentioned that plenty of times. This isn't a government owned and operated site where your freedoms are being trampled. It's private and they can do as they please. There are plenty of political forums who would gladly take their posts.
