Barometric Pressure

So what's the verdict on barometric pressure and deer movement/activity?  I've always subscribed to the belief that deer move most as the low pressure systems are moving in and the pressure in dropping.  It looks like Saturday nigh into Sunday will bring a pretty signifcant trough, if you will, with the pressure dropping over Saturday night and bottoming out around 29.7 on Sunday.   So, what say ye about barometric pressures?

What I have always heard was that a falling pressure indicates an approaching stormy condition that makes the deer go on a minor feeding binge. However, that has not come from actual observation and may very well be a crock. But it does make me wonder. Has anyone actually seen any credible articles from people who have studied the relationship between barometric pressure and deer activity? That would be some good info to know.

I didn't look at the BP, but the deer were certainly out feeding today well before dark....

Well  the winds increased to 30 plus gusts,  the temp is dropping and rain is expected before midnight. I think the deer made a good call to be out and feed before it gets nasty . Now if it stays crappy for a day or 2 , they  can wait it out.

I prefer when Saturn's rings are aligned just right, gravitational pull is at the peak for this time of year, the moon is in crescent, Venus is having her time, it's 11:21:16 AM on the second Monday of the week, and it's snowing in Hawaii. If all this is in your favor you are guaranteed a monster buck.
