Coyote Hunting

Anybody doing any coyote hunting. I know it's deer season, but is anybody getting out.

I was hoping for the samething today. I saw some good scat and well as over 20 bear piles. Just a handful of deer piles though.

Tried calling in some today while deer hunting but got nothing.

Do you guys hunt during daylight hours for coyotes or only at night ? How productive are mornings ?  Can coyotes be hunted all day or is it a waste of time after early morning ? Thanks.

They can be called 24/7. Hunt the thick cover during the day because that's where they'll be. They also like to lay on hillsides in the sun.

I fed one a 20g slug this morning as it was chasing 3 does across my field.  Was just about to drop a nice fat doe when he popped out of the brush line.
