How To lose your flowering trees...

Have a cold snap then let it get spring time warm in Dec...My Magnolia's all have catkins opening and I have several species of trees budded out green....Not good we have a reflow of sap and then freezing temps...I believe we'll be looking at crack damage..besides loosing fruiting buds

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the magnolias set their buds in the late fall for blooming in early spring. I don't think there will be any damage to the tree from the warm fall weather. If anything, a harsh winter like last year would have a more damaging effect on it.
