A good drive home!

2 herds bordering our woods...28 in one 12 in another...2 miles from home another herd spotted of 11. This before dawns born..going to be a good year I think.

Me too I pulled off the road to count them..no racks many small,but some were so close to my wood line a half mile across the field I couldn't tell size.the other smaller groups were not as spread out.figure if just a 1/3 of those were to have fawn.

I officially have no excuses for this up coming season...lol

I got a pic sent to me from one of our Alfalfa fields that borders the safety zone on Letchworth and you can clearly count 32 deer from the pic. He said there were a good number more he could not get in the pic. Thats good news with an easy winter again.

Yep they were in the beef farmers hay field alfalfa/clover/grass mix and open Southern exposure.

Here is a picture taken over the weekend in Cortland. This buck was chasing the doe for some time. Still has headgear!!!

Saw a few groups as well...maybe upper thirties total....half dozen that were still carrying for sure.

 

Checked a moon app on my phone- they called it as the best day this month....always hate when that thing is right. lol
