Why do people like lakes so much?

Seneca Lake is 200 yards to the east of my shack house. I don't really have much of a lake view, but between the sunrise and the look of the lake I can get a good idea of what the weather is going to be like that day. Beats looking at the internet.

Our boathouse has been in the family since the late 60's.

Lots of headaches at times, and lots of changes in the character of what they used to be.

JJ , is yours on the end of the dock ? I've noticed an IAFF sticker on one there .

Our boathouse is directly behind the ice cream shop, but never had an IAFF sticker on it.

Dad retired from Canandaigua Local 2098 and I know there's 3 or 4 other active & retirees that have boathouses, so it maybe one of them.
