Boat Paddle calls

I only have 2 of these types of box calls in my collection. One is by Quaker Boy, called their "mini-boat paddle" and this one really sounds awesome still. The other one is made by a good friend of mine

Tim Fralick, and he makes one called the "Burrville Bomber" , it's a rather large call and doesn't fit well in my vest due to it's size. I usually end up carrying it in my decoy bag. They both sound great to my ears.

I'll bet the Burrvile Bomber has plenty of volume! Great for those windy days.

It is a loud call for sure!! Tim made another friend one and when I heard him using that call in the woods, it sounded just incredible!!! I asked him where he got it and promptly

had him make me one as well.

while the burrville bomber can crank out some loud calls for locating, it can also be toned down for some sweet limb talk, one thing is for sure they are a deadly call  mine will always have a place in my vest.

Is Tim still making calls ?

At one time I had discussed ordering one from him, but it never came about.

you should check out the grand ol master paddle thinking its by quaker boy I have one signed by dick kirby (in ink not a print) i love the way that one sounds and it has lots of beards under its belt

Boat paddles are great calls n can do things short boxes can't.
