Probably an easy question.....

So let's say u have left your trail cams up and u have pics of two DIFFERENT Tom's, and u know they are different because one has a double beard, coming to the SAME exact spot twice every morning. Once at 0730 and again between 0930-1000. When I say every single day, it's literally every single day....

The question is would you bother going out and trying to roost the bird(s) or just hunt that spot. There are a couple of tree tops and a blow down already there.

For the record, not that it really matters, but I am asking so my father can visually see everyone's opinion on what he should do because he doesn't like my answer when I tell him to just go pop a squat in the tree top

If I had a tom showing up EVERY SINGLE day around the same time on my cam, on opening day I would hunt right around that camera and probably not call much. The only thing I would be worried about is it being opening day, if there are other hunters close by, they could pull him off his daily route. But then again, so can a hen......

I would think those hours are well after fly down most mornings, so they could be roosting a ways off......if there's other hunters in the area that would concern me about just sitting at that spot, I would either roost them or get in early and use locator calls and move in on them before shooting time.

I would sit right there and not say a word.  I would get there at daylight (but not necessarily in the dark either) and set-up just like deer hunting.  Long wait but why risk messing it up.  Plus right now you don't know where they roost but you might the first morning you are there.  Once again, I would not call at all.
