When I walk the woods while turkey hunting I find myself purposely heading to stream beds and low wet spots, always hoping to see a bear track in the mud.  All though I've seen tracks in the snow (once) in Ontario County and had one on the trail cam, I'll be thrilled to see a track.  Not sure why, just one of those things to put in the vault of memories...............

There was one raiding bird feeders in Elma a few years ago, also a sow with cubs spotted there which I understand would be a resident bear

Heard there was an adult bear hit on the cirttenden overpass on this past Friday night... Haven't tried to track it down yet. Been a few bears, bobcats and other critters around that don't belong there
