turkeyfeathers
Anybody have one they like that will actually keep stuff warm? Have a Thermos brand that sucks. Was hoping Yeti made something or something of the like. Thanks in advance.

Steve D
The "Contigo" snapseal tubblers will keep it hot for hours. There are also ones with a 12v connector that you can plug in your vehicle that will keep it hot also.
Jeremy K
Do you pour boiling water In it before you put the soup or chilli in? Like a preheat. Obviously dumping the boiling water out first. Edited November 26, 2016 by Jeremy K
Lawdwaz
If you have the funds, Yeti has the answer. People sure do like their stuff.

Yeti unfortunately doesn't make an item like this. I do have a can/bottle coozie that keeps my barley pop's cold for a long time. The wife has their coffee cup tumbler which is equally great. wooly
Lots of comparison tests out there. Not really much difference in the tumbler models, but a bit of a difference in price. I'd imagine your chili containers would have similar performance among the brands. Here's a pretty thorough shootout..... and yes, pre-heating your Thermos with hot water will help.

That's the kind I have ,it's one of the newer ones ,like an ugly green color . I always warm up the inside of it before putting hot chocolate in it.
