Nockturnal Lighted Nocks

Ive been messing around with these new Nockturnal nocks and I like how they are performing.  Its a pretty failproof system, and they are affordable.  I took a video shooting, bow seems so much louder eccoing in a big empty shed.  Don't preach to me about my shooting direction, I can see if people are comming from a long way.  I have to shoot the lower right of my block target because its falling apart.

How far away is your target?  I shoot Lumenocks all the time - have never had a failure (except when the battery dies - and then I just replace it).

I have used both G5 and Carbon Express lighted nocks and prefer the Carbon Express because they are easier to operate and more fail safe

Yea I heard the G5's were junk, luminocks could have problems, and firenocks were good too but expensive.  These nockturnals will be on all my arrows next fall.

Yea the G5s turn on very well and show up good but after less than 5 shots you cant get them to turn off when i tried them 2 years ago. Venatic has good luck with the firenocks

Make you own lighted nocks for less that $3 each . This was on you tube a couple years ago

i never tried those illuminated nocks. i was thinking about it this year. do you guys recommend them? i always shot traditional nocks. i would like to try them..

Ive tried different brands and made my own. The Carbon Express Lazer Eyes are the ones that I have found to be the best bang for the buck. The type with the replaceable batteries are just too pricey to be worth it to me. Ive had the same Lazer Eye that I bought to test out on my arrow for 2 seasons already, and it still works great. All of the rest of them that I had died after the 1st season. This past season I put the Lazer Eyes on all of my arrows.

I havent tried the Nockturnals yet though
