Hey folks,

I'm visiting my daughter in Webster area and need to find a place to buy Tripple 7 pellets, or maybe look at the newer one I heard of "White Hot". I'll be headed back to do some shooting with my muzzle loader tomorrow, and could not find any at all in the Utica/Rome area. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I thought the white hotts were extremely dirty and inconsistent, I had to push a brush between every shot.

A week back Beikirch was selling 50/30 777 pellets box of 100 count for $5. I imagine they are sold out by now at that price. They have 50/50 I think for about $25/box. Field & Stream has 100 count boxes of 50/50 777 for an outrageous $42.99. or a box of 50 count for about $25.

you could spend all day driving around looking for powder so I'd call first.

Second that on calling first. My FIL went to buy powder last year the Sunday before ML opened. He stopped at a local guys place and got a lecture for trying to buy powder the day before the season. He had some already and sighted in and was getting more for his speed loaders. The clerk went off on him and then said he didn't have any.

Sounds like a great way to build customer allegiance! Maybe the guy running the store should work on his inventory management a little better and not takeout his inability to stay stocked on a customer. :D

I just went to the place your phones are talking about over in East Rochester. They didn't have any 50-50 but they did at the 50-30 at five dollars a box, so I bought that. Now I need to decide whether to  step down to 90 grains or up to 120. i'll skip tomorrow morning's hunt and spend the morning figuring things out with the loads and then hunt in the afternoon. Thanks for the tips on where to find what I was looking for, although I must admit I missed the place entirely and had to turn around come back to find it. Hahaha

Surprised they still have any left. That is about 1/4 or 1/5 the normal price. I have shot 1/3rd of a box and each went bang :)

Yeah, me too - first trip out there last spring shopping for a handgun I also drove right by the place. Even with a printed google map and having been in that area a couple times prior!!! They obviously keep a low profile with their brick n mortar business with NO blatant signs out front.
