Ohio was a sleeper state years ago but not anymore.  NR tags are only $150.  The season is very long but it's a one buck state and a short shotgun season and I think both key.  They also have quality habitat.

yep, we all needed to have on our person a card signed by landower giving permission to hunt.  On a different note....landowners and family that lives on land doesn't need to pay for a hunting license, it's free!

Good lookin' buck!  My grandson wants to learn how to hunt, so he as asked me to come out to Ohio and teach him.  Can't wait for this fall.  We will be hunting in Greene County.
