I just moved a QAD from one bow to another and put a new loop on, the chord doesn't match my string and cables. This will not do! This bow is giving me fits, it's out of brace and axle to axle but I get a bullet hole and it's timed perfectly. String and cable lengths are correct, tiller is good. I welcome your thoughts.

If the string is more than 2 years old change it. Or just leave it the deer wont notice the difference

It's a new string and cables, the green is a spool of loop material I have laying around. I'll order black and red asap! Jerkman you are 100% correct

You can't have that not matching ...order done matching d loop material! I had two pulses ...11 and 13 I should have kept the the 13 it was a sweet bow

How far out of brace and ATA?  I assume you are talking greater ATA and lower brace?  If so, you can twist both cables a few more times in equal amounts to the bring the ATA down and Brace up.  It should hold timing and you may have to twist the string up a bit.  All that said, if its shooting as you like it and its not loud, maybe there is no need to chase the specs.

And yes - you need to change that cord color.  lol

BTW - twisting up cables should provide a bit more of a valley and more let-off.  You may have to play with limb stops too.

Obviously, if BH is too great and ATA to short, you can go in reverse and untwist the cables a bit.

Both are out 1/4", and I don't know how that's possible. I buried the limb bolts. The string and cable lengths are correct, tiller is good and so is timing. I'm going to start a thread on AT for ideas too. I get a good hole bare shaft

You don't mention which way they are out but not sure I would sweat it if it's shooting good. Specs are usually +/- 1/8" so you aren't way off.

And 6 1/4"

Odd - they should move in opposite directions.  Long ata = short on brace.  I would guess cables are too long but you said they measured out.  How is draw weight?

Now you have me curious.  How is DL?  Controlled more by string but is it on spec?

My buddy just took my elite answer after we were done with a 3d league round yesterday for a quick tune job and just texted me it is a 1/4 long in the ATA...He is going to twist it some tonight to get it back to the 33 1/2 spec.
