I thought he said he wasn't going to accept getting paid for being POTUS? At least his first donation went to a proper venue.

I don't know how it actually works but I don't think he can simply refuse the pay. He has vowed to donate it all back to the country though. And you're right, maintenance of historic battlefields is definitely a good cause.

I have no clue on the terms of his getting paid. I just remember him saying he didn't want to be paid for doing what other POTUS should have done.

If he donates his pay, I hope he stays on the same path.
