Well we couldn't find a big fish this morning but we did manage to get 9 fish on a crappy tide. All small like this guy. Still a lot of fun especially for a freshwater guy like me

Nice fish! A lot of the times those smaller guys fight harder than some of the 40" fish that ive caught. Id rather get a 28" fish over a 40 any day of the week. Either way looks like you had a fun time.

They are still fun to catch, I use 10 or 12 0 hooks prevents even catching the small ones

Haha ya I figured that one. Still tons of fun to catch...especially with lures.

Looks like you had a good time.

It's too bad though that the striped bass fishery is in such bad shape right now. In my eyes the Chesapeake fishery has all but collapsed. Thankfully the Hudson fish are still doing ok. 

Please practice catch and release so that one day our kids can catch some as well. It would be great to have them return to the numbers that we had in the 90's.
