turkeyfeathers
Yeah but those where all private country clubs they played on and not a public course. Course record still a record regardless if public or private no ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The_Real_TCIII
I played TV yesterday, probably created some kind of course record for the grounds crew
Moho81
TF, for some reason I can't quote you but any ways yes I agree a record is a record. It does not matter who you are or what course you are playing. DJ could hold the record at Bob-O-Links for all I care. My comment was more towards him playing at a public course vs. a private course not because its a public course and he's slumming it just would think that if he came to play in Buffalo he would have a connection at one of the private country clubs that's all. Of course it could have been some sort of promotional event he was there for or his personality is that he choose a public course over private course who really knows. I personally love Ivy Ridge. Beautiful course that can be played by all skill level's and still be fun

Robert Trent jones designed it I believe. Heard from customers it's in pretty good shape. Man, haven't played there in forever and used to quite a bit
Moho81
Cool article. I hope to see his name on the PGA tour soon. Has Buffalo ever had a PGA Tour Pro? I know we have a lot of bowling professionals but a PGA Pro??

In fact Dudley was just in at work last week. Used to play junior golf with him and played with Thorpe a couple of times as well at River Oaks

The_Real_TCIII
Ivy Ridge is nicer than several of the private courses around here IMO
