MPHunter
Came across this article today http://www.timesunion.com/news/article/South-Troy-man-fends-off-deer-getting-hooked-on-12232593.php#photo-14233025 Interesting thing is the deer was recovered dead a short distance away. What would cause a deer to do this and die? I never heard of a rabid deer. Is it possible?
TACC
I have heard of deer getting up after being shot and when the hunter goes to gut it was actually just nocked out buy the bullet hitting a horn, then using its hoofs to try and stop it. Then the deer died from exhaustion. Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

Jdubs
Deer tested positive for rabies. That's a shame. http://cbs6albany.com/news/local/deer-that-assaulted-troy-man-tests-positive-for-rabies Edited September 28, 2017 by Jdubs
TACC
How would a deer contract rabies?Sent from my 9006W using Tapatalk
Adkhunter1590
Considering where this took place, it probably got rabies from hanging around with the locals....
growalot
My cams show deer and raccoon feeding nose to nose...Fox as well...I'm surprised you don't see it more... but considering they also feed out in the open where bats bug, having a rabid bat bite them would be easy to see as well.
