He's getting away

This bobcat is messing with me. He finally walked by again a few days ago but wasn't interested in my sets. The season ends tomorrow. Oh well.....maybe next year.

They are one of the most elusive critters in these parts of the woods. We have a good population of them here. But they are seldom seen, even when spending a lot of time out there. The ones we have taken, have been by chance encounter. So huge props to the guys who can get one in a trap.

I tried it. It doesn't work.  Doesn't work when I'm  on the boat, and and go "here...fishy....fishy.....fishy" either.

What kind of sets did you try. I have yet to see tracks on my line anywhere but do know a few people who have gotten lucky and pinched them in yote sets. Someday I hope to have enough to target them.

I had a few blind sets , one cubby set and a few variations of the dirt hole set.
