A little different opening day weather wise this year. Looked more like deer season. Had some birds on roost gobbling. Then the hen started. She and I going. I pissed her off. Tom's gobbled at both of us. Flew down and walked off with her. Plan A didn't work. Went back into roost area at 10:00. Set up and called. Got a gobble. Worked him all the way to the gun. 20 lbs. 8" beard with 3/4" spurs. Not the biggest Tom on the farm but he gave me an awesome hunt.
