Do you prefer steamed or toasted or don't it matter? I like any as long as they are bakery fresh. I do lean towards toasted though over steamed.

Tops rolls and buns are very similar to Costanza's. Since Tops was started in Buffalo I have a sneaky suspicion they may have co-opted some of the recipes and procedures from Costanza's. ;-) But you're right, Tops rolls are very good.

I am a huge fan of Kimmelwick buns for just about all uses. Even those Zwiegle hots are great on a lightly toasted kimmelwick bun.
