It was nice to see him go so high in the draft yesterday.  His aunt is my assistant (for 10 years now) and I have met his grandparents.  A very nice family so its good to see him succeed.  NBA draft is crazy.  Unlike the NFL, its very unpredictable.  I saw him rated as high as 3 and as low as 13.

He immediately gets compared to Buddy Heile instead of Steph Curry. Let’s hope he’s the latter (that’s the second one for you guys south of the thruway)

There's a very thin line between Buddy Heid, Juan Dixon, and Steph Curry.  Physically, Curry is better suited for the NBA (taller, longer arms, etc) than Trae Young.  It's also concerning that teams shut Trae down the second half.  I actually wanted the Knicks to draft him should he fall down to 9th but I don't think he will anywhere near as good as Curry.

It will be good for the other players in his team to succeed cuz he should know there gonna try to shut him down. He had a he'll of a college career scoring wise. I would like to see him do well and become a star.
