jasons75
After months of debate with the wife and a lot of indecision over getting new or used and the cost I Finally decided to get a new bow for my first. I went with a Mission Craze. The price was in range of what i wanted to spend and left me a little wiggle room to get a release and a sight. The unfortunate side is I shoot lefty so the shop had to order a bow for me. I have about a week to 10 days before i get it in hand. As for the sight and release.... anyone have suggestions for an inexpensive setup? (i only have 50-75 left to spend)
WNYBuckHunter
Look on Archery talk and get a used sight and release, its the only way you will stay in that budget. What about arrows, broadheads, tuning, string wax, serving lube, a quiver, stabalizer, peep, string loop? Sounds like you might need to open that budget a little. jasons75
I believe that the initial setup is part of the purchase and the sloop and peep. Stabilize and quiver will come a Bit later.... Arrows are not part of the 50-75 budget.... That's just what I want to limit for the sight and release. The rest that you mentioned..... I completely forgot about them. Looks like I got to squeeze a few more items on the shopping list.

Was probably ment to be "string loop" I knew that but I had to be a wise guy ! I bought some string loop material from Dick's but it was limp . Bought some at Gander MT and it was a thicker cord and works great .
jasons75
I got a sight and rest last week and was able to start shooting the new bow! Wow..... I need a lot of practice! I can at least get the arrows into the target but not groping them very well yet. Gotta practice more. I'm hoping to get out today after work and shoot for another hour. It sounds like you might not have settled into a consistant stance yet. Have another archer shoot with you and check out how your holding at full draw.
