crappyice
Looking to order some additional arrows (gonna be a BIG YEAR boys and girls!!)Normally I would go to a shop like I did for the fresh 1/2 dozen I bought already but I have some bass pro cards burning a hole in my pocket. When measuring length of an arrow, where do you start(assuming the metal end where broadhead is screwed in)? And where do you end? On the shaft where the nock goes or do I measure to the end of the nock? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hock3y24
Depends on who’s cutting, some measure carbon to carbon, some measure nock where the string touches to the end. I just tell them 27” carbon to carbon when I get mine cut.
crappyice
Unfortunately these big box stores seem to only send them as is from the factory (32”)so I would need to bring them to get cut anyway. At that point, cheaper (or more worth while) to just support local shop (even though they are kind of dickish).Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lawdwaz
Like bringing your own steak to the steak house.........they frown on that.

I give them plenty of business but draw the line sometimes.

DirtTime
Take your current arrow in along with the arrows you want cut, and most good bow shops will match them. Edited October 3, 2018 by Rob...
