mowin
I read it as "such firearm" meaning singular. So... Do I need a $1m policy for each firearm? If so, mine will be shipped to a buddy in Maine.

Per the norm in NY, the law would be written with less clarity than a 5th grade homework assignment, the NYSP won't offer any explanations whatsoever and in the end law-abiding citizens will be arrested first and left to empty their bank accounts to attempt to prove innocense from the tyrant's unconstitutional laws. Rattler
It's unconstitutional to limit an enumerated right with conditions, especially monetary ones. Doing so relegates it to a privilege granted by government. Mandated fees may not be affordable to every citizen, making a right a luxury attainable only to the privileged. If this proposal ever becomes law, it will face an immediate legal challenge demanding a stay of implementation and a lawsuit concerning it's infringement on the right to self defense.
