I use Waze.   Works great.  I'll have to try this out sometime.

I use Waze all the time, I call it Waze to crash.

When I first used Waze, I got the “ object on road ahead “ alert, about 30 seconds later there was a guy loading a ladder back onto his truck. Now that’s real time alerts !

The “ police ahead “ I’ve found far less reliable , once on the thruway it showed a cop at every over pass, when there was none at all . Im of the belief that the Troopers, drop their own pins as they drive around ,to throw it all off. As well as move more often .

Overall I like it .

Waze works best in areas with higher volumes of traffic. The more users in your area, the more accurate and up to date the info is. Assuming 511 works the same way?
