Who takes coyotes in CNY?

Hey guys.  I am hoping to get into my second season of coyote hunting soon.  I went last season in the southern tier, and was able to shoot and kill one coyote.  This was on my dad's land, and he kept that coyote for the pelt.

Being home in Onondaga county, I really dont know where to take a coyote if I kill one.  I personally don't want the pelt, and I really don't want to just drag a dead coyote over to the brush and leave it either.

look for trappers in your area....DEC can usually supply you with a list of them also.

If you have a small local gunshop it couldn't hurt to make a call and ask if they know anybody. there is a coyote competition coming up soon.  You could reach out to organizers or attend. Ask around. Here is a link with info about the competition.
