I’ve asked the same thing. If I remember correctly it lessens recoil for follow up shot or something. I’ve never seen one in real life

Those 300's can get a little jumpy at times. Any little bit helps on some of those 400 yarders.

You see FSW  I usally  only see does  or spikes   and same with the other guys that I see hunting the public areas I hunt  when i go deer hunting so i like to see pictures like yours  just to keep me motivated  . Good to know there out there  .

I hope that is a wild one you are posting .

Nope. Figured I would kill it out of my herd instead of selling it for a few grand. Shot two more this year out of the same pen. On that note, You need to go to better state land. All state land deer from the same camera

Yea I no but the drives to those remote locations kill you so I find my self hunting local .

FSW looks like a cross between Jackie Bushman and Andy Williams.  Maybe he sang "Moon River" to lure that buck into range?  LOL
