The_Real_TCIII
Check this place out. We found it by mistake when fishing Flatbrook. Its really cool and REALLY creepy. Northwest Jersey is beautiful country https://scenesfromthetrail.com/2016/09/10/walpack-township-abandoned-in-new-jersey/

Five Seasons
really cool stuff, thanks for sharing. I bet there's been quite a few movies and tv shows filmed there. on a side note, i've never understood tagging style graffiti. why is it necessary to spray paint on something? Rattler
Been there many times fishing the Big Flatbrook and camping in the area. When I was a Boy Scout, we used to go to Camp Cowah, which was also closed due to the Tocks Island Dam project. Since it was cancelled, the federal govt owns all of that stuff and it just sit there. The fed basically stole it all and should be forced to return it all to the rightful owners. Let them keep the little bit of money they got as compensation for pushing them out of that beautiful area. (I've often though about becoming a "squatter" in one of those stone homes in that area. But it's still in goddam New Germany) Edited March 1, 2019 by Rattler

Eric J
Funny..... The Old Mine Road was NEVER used by the Dutch... certainly not to transport Low Grade copper ore.... Plus... the Dutch had Gun Powder and some of the "mines" near there are Hand Chiselled.... Hmm....
