The deflowering of my NULA

Finally got out in the field with my rifle. My first hunt with it happened to be at Tioga boar ranch.  This was my first type of pay to hunt so I was not real sure what to expect.  The ranch itself is quite inviting and has apparently had some new buildings put up in recent past.   It’s clean, kept well, and the staff are awesome.   The hunt was finished quickly. We walked a short way into the woods while a guide worked to move some our direction.  A herd of Russians came by but I was after meat, not a trophy.   That herd had some meat hogs that stopped near us. They were eating and not moving much when the Mrs. clicked off her safety and dropped one at about 70 yards.  Looking later, she made an excellent shot. I was up next but had to wait until the one was clear of the dead one.  After a few minutes, I had a clear shot that found its mark. A little closer, maybe 60 yards. Both hogs dropped where they stood. The guides cleaned and loaded them up and let us know this was unusual to be done so quickly.  For what it was, this went well. I filled the freezer, deflowered the NULA, and the mrs. Had fun.
