Piseco lake?

Anyone ever fish it? I’m thinking of finishing out my day fishing. Just want to know what to expect this time of the year.

Smallies and Lakers from what I know.  Haven't fished it but know some that have.

I have never seen Piseco lake unfrozen. I snowmobile across it probably about 10 times a winter. There is always people ice fishing. Not that this helps your post at all....

No luck but that’s a nice lake.Talked to a local guy he said worms for yellow perch. Good smallmouth bass,but on the other side of the lake. I might hit it again tomorrow afternoon.

Little lakers, you find them you can chtch a pile of them.

Went back today had what I think was a pickerel swap at my lure,but that was it. I could see fish breaking water but couldn’t reach them. I’ll be back there with my boat in the spring. Pisses me off that they lock the gates after Labor Day.

I believe that the Poplar Point boat ramp (limited parking) is being left open for boat access.

There are lakers and some landlock salmon in the lake, but I've never caught any with great size. Its a nice setting and gets busy during July and August during the day hours. Use to troll right off the bottom dragging spoons with copper line or using riggers...
