nybuckboy
What's a good buck/doe ratio?
chrisw
Generally speaking 1 to 3 is what a healthy herd consists of to my knowledge. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

nyslowhand
Where I hunt I want the buck to doe ratio to be 10:1. In the freezer, 0:2. Ideally per whitetail biologist in the 2-3:1 ratio. Not something a typical hunter can control in the wild, other than filling all available DMPs and only shooting 1 buck/yr. ^^^^ and if you had trail cams out during the summer & into October it'd be just the opposite.. maybe! Not saying the boys aren't always in your area, just not visible during daylight hours like they are during the rut.
