WNYBuckHunter
Finally had a chance to get her Diamond Nuclear Ice tuned up and fitted for her with her release. I had them add a d loop and she picked out a pink kisser. Im going to see how she does with it before I have a peep put in. We got home a little before dark and she wanted to take it out and shoot a bit. I got this pic of her taking her first shot. We worked on her grip a little and she shot a few pretty good ones including this.

fasteddie
She had better not get her hair caught in the bowstring . It's great to see a youngster get involved in archery .
hb270deermanager
I wonder sometimes that theres just not enough parents can do or that kids like to get envolved in hunting or the outdoors. I am blessed that my kids love it.It also makes me glad when another parent intro- duces a child to the great outdoors. Its a great thing.Let her know thats shes got lots of supporters and all the best of luck.Judging by your pic shes ready to go and that is where it all comes from just shooting and enjoying the time together. hb270deermanager
Oh by the way Diamond is probably the best youth or starter bow. Just thought I'd add that in.
WNYBuckHunter
Yeah shes already been going out hunting with me for 3 years now (shes 7) and loves the outdoors. Still have a pic of her catching her first fish on my desk at the office. Shes watched deer be field dressed, went squirrel hunting last year, rides ATVs and loves all of it. She usually tags along when I check my cams and has been out scouting the farm alot with me this year. Shes definitely a country girl. Eddie, I have been teaching her to try and keep her hair brushed back away from the bow and string.
Doewhacker
Thats great!!! She sounds alot like my boy, and I think thats the next bow I want to get him for his upcoming birthday too. I figure that will last him untill he is ready to take over my wifes bow in a few years to hunt with. And you ought to see my 2 year old shoot, she loves it too! RobC
Very cool! Take her to a few 3d shoots she'll probably love it. I bought my boy a cheap 75 dollar bow and took him and two weeks later we were throwing down money on a diamond razor edge and now is at every shoot. Deerthug
That's awesome! I can wait to get my 10 y.o. son to start bowhunting with me. First time last year with a recurve.
