ApexerER
I wanted a red dot for my Turkey slayer. Was trying to decide between the Vortex Venom and Burris Fast Fire. I decided on the Venom mostly because of what I have heard about Vortex customer service. I got the Venom last Friday. When I opened it I was annoyed that the base was installed, the battery was installed and there was no paperwork at all. I figured I got one that somebody returned. I called the place I ordered it from and they said it wasn't returned but it was their display model. They said I could return it but I wanted it yesterday. I emailed Vortex and told them and asked if they could possibly send me the paperwork I should have gotten. I got a message back within a few minutes saying yes and it was shipping. Came home to a Vortex optics box on my porch. Here is what they sent me... Well I can't upload a picture. They must have overnighted this stuff. I got the paperwork I requested, a hat, Vortex decal, Vortex playing cards, Vortex optics cleaning cloth, extra screws for the optic mount and a torx bit. Thought it was a pretty big box for a tiny instruction manual.
Culvercreek hunt club
Did you buy directly from Vortex or a retailer?

I have had two issues and both were taken care of fast and beyond what i expected.
Lawdwaz
Someday I'll try a Vortex product as all I hear are good things. I bought a Burris FF3 a couple years ago and it gave me some trouble lately. I take the battery out at the end of each season at put it back in at the start of the new one. The threads on the cap are very fine and as far as I know I haven't buggered them up but sometimes it acts goofy and won't come on. I bought a new battery last week and all was good until I missed that gobbler Saturday morning, the sight was out after the shot and it wouldn't come back on. I high-tailed it back to the truck, got a screwdriver and pulled the cover and reinstalled it and it's working now. I am not flush with confidence with my Burris FF3........hence the Vortex thoughts. mlammerhirt
Bought a pair of vortex binos from Cabela's years ago......the 1st week of the outdoor 3d league I was shooting in I go to adjust the lens and the eye piece snaps right off. So when I got home I called them, explained the situation and that I needed Binos for the next weekend. They sent me a shipping label, sent the binos back a few days later and had a brand new pair by the end of the week. I can't say enough about their customer service!Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
UpStateRedNeck
I just got a pair of their binos to replace my Cabela's ones that grew legs. Good to know they stand by their products! Between them and KUIU it's nice to know there's still American companies that have good customer service.
