Deerthug
I would not eat it. Not worth getting sick. After the hurricane in August I had no power for 4 days. Had to dump a whole freezer full of meat.

fasteddie
When my chest small freezer crapped out , I threw out a lot of venison . Saved a small amount but figured the majority wasn't worth saving .

Culvercreek hunt club
not sure what kind of freezer you have Dom...but the best thing to do it NOT open it while th epower is out. They are insulated pretty well and If is is still frozen it will be fine. If it thaws I would toss it. If you have any place by you to buy dry ice a 40 pound block got me through a tough outage once. It gae freezer burn to the stuff it touched but saved the rest of it. Might be worth a look into to try and save what you have. FYO my freezer was a chest type. Fantail
If it completly unthawed then I would be bummed. You can safly refreeze meats if they only were partly unfrozen. Hey if you pick up a 400w inverter you can use your vehicle as a generator of sorts for an hour or so a day.
Tonyjoe
If you don't open the freezer you might be fine. I drove from Fairbanks Alaska to southern Arizona with a freezer full of meat and fish. I was moving with the military and was not about to let my halibut and moose go to waste. Anyway there were a few days on the drive I was not able to plug in the freezer and when I did finally stop somewhere I checked it and everything was still solid. I think you may be able to go 3-4 days without power as long as you don't open the freezer.
