Yeah the parkway is about 300 yards. The camera is a JVC Everio Hard Drive Camera i picked it up last year for hunting good quality for a small camera(need to keep a hand warmer rubber banded to it it cant take the cold but the hand warmer trick works). And i wont tell Chris nice shot his heads big enough after this LoL

Great footage! I have a JVC Everio Hard Drive camera I use to film my hunts but the battery lasts no more than 15 mins in really cold weather. I like the idea of using the hand warmer. Where on the camera do you attach it? I'm assuming around the battery??

I purchased a bigger battery it was about $80 at B&H in the city it last really long i put the hand warmer on the bottom side of the battery and i put an extra fleece hat over the top of the camera until im filming thenput it back on when im done. The new battery is much bigger it adds about an inch and a half to the back of the camera but well worth it the little one that comes with it doesnt last more than 20 min like you said in cold weather the new one ive never had low battery come on.

I actually ordered a larger battery - supposed to give 3 hrs, on Friday. It was $28 on Amazon. The manufacturer is Lenmar. Thanks for the tip. I'm definitely gonna try the hand warmer and the fleece hat next time I go out. The old one ran down even with the camera off and sitting on my tripod mount I made for my gun rail.

It is so much easier to pan with the arm. I cannabilized an old tripod and bought the clamp on Amazon for $4. The black nib attached to the screw on the clamp was .99. It works great. I use a one-man ladder stand with arm rests and a gun rail. I attach it to the arm rest on my right side being that I'm a rightie. That way its not in front of you interfering with your draw. You can even attach it to a tree limb if necessary. Just gotta make sure its firmly attached otherwise the last video you see will be of you looking down at the camera as its falling - :O

I actually picked up a cheap tripod with panning arm at target for $15. I'm going to be making one for my brother.
