Why do the Holidays always bring out family drama? Who is going where, who is staying where and how long. Blah. Plans have been set for MONTHS and things always change the last second.

I'm taking the high road on this one...

I hear you John. I'm in the same boat. We had plans set a month ago to head up to the cabin for Thanksgiving and also do some hunting.

Well . . . last minute all has changed. My brother in law (who owns the house we go to upstate), his kids (27 & 24 y.o) didn't want to go because one has to work the next day and the other has a High School reunion. My parents were supposed to go to my brother's house but last minute my brother and his wife and kids decided to go elsewhere. So my parents were left out along with my dad's brother and his son. So we offered to cook at my house for my parents, my uncle and cousin. Well it turns out my uncle and cousin decide to go to his brother in law's house leaving my parents alone again. So then my brother in law decides to have thanksgiving at his house on LI and invited my parents along. Oy vey! What a hassle. I just want to eat turkey too! :fie:
