mowin
My dad has a purple hart metal from WW2. I've got his hand written memos of him being shot, not fatal, and wrapping them up and continuing to fight. Also have his memo of when he was shot in the upper leg, and could hear the Germans going from building to building killing those still alive. They were only a few buildings away when the allied forces attacked, saving his life. Can't fathom what these guys went through. Thanks dad for you sacrifice. RIP..
squirrelwhisperer
Thank you to all the men and women in service to our country. America would not be what is without you. I have an old newspaper clipping on my gunsafe that reads, ”If you can read this, thank a teacher. If it’s in English, thank a soldier.” Amazing how many people don’t get it. Land of the Free BECAUSE of the Brave!! Thank you, again.
