cdbing
I mostly bowhunt. I've grunted in 2 bucks. One is on the wall and the other I missed due to arrow deflection off a twig. Both cases the bucks were making rubs and could not see where the grunt was coming from. Have had no luck with the doe bleat can. For me, grunts work best when the deer can't see where the call is coming from. Nothing seems to work when a buck is tending a hot doe. The grunt can get a buck to stop and take notice, but is less effective if the buck has good visibility and can see that there is no buck there to make the noise. Last Monday I blind called (grunt) and had a doe come in downwind a couple minutes later, but not sure if she came to the call, or if it was just coincidence.I always have the grunt call with me. The doe bleat mostly stays in the truck, but I take once is a while, just in case my luck changes.Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
