Nomad
When I read This today it brought tears to my eyes . I knew before hand he went to the hospital , after going through the “ maze” aka mask confidence course . We went through ours annually, you come out sweaty ,and low on air it’s challenging as it should be . Rumor has it he complained of difficulty breathing , but was told to push through and not disappoint the instructors , which is the wrong course of action for, them to,take . Then there was an issue with getting an ambulance . Anyways his dream was to become a career FF and he achieved it at 21 ! Took me till 30 ..... God bless his family , what a great guy !https://www.nny360.com/news/jeffersoncounty/watertown-firefighter-peyton-morse-dies-of-injuries-suffered-in-line-of-duty/article_6b759197-26d5-5c91-8058-36679a6ff5ad.html
Tughill Tamer
Awful thing my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. It sounds like there are alot of questions to be answered about how everything went down.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
Robhuntandfish
The local radio guy Bob lonsberry was talking about this a few days ago. Sounds like they were pushing him to get it done. Firefighters sure are tough but still have to listen if people say they are struggling. I'm sure no harm was meant they were just pushing him to make it but it should've been taken seriously when he said he was having problems. grampy
The brotherhood of firefighters lost a good one here, by all accounts. Prayers to his family, along with his brother and sister firefighters. RIP young man.
