ADK Native
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-expected-to-announce-executive-action-on-guns-thursday/ar-BB1foUcZ?ocid=SL5GDHP As usual, nothing in the article states how President Biden and his advisors are really going to fix the gun violence problem. Unfortunately just more restrictions and prohibitions from the politicians. This while they ignore the two major root causes of gun violence; the distribution, sale and use of illegal drugs and the failed mental health care system that is allowing too many violently mentally ill people go untreated and/or institutionalized. It is amazing how many Americans have not figured out that the politicians are really not interested in fixing the gun violence problem. So the circus in Washington continues on. DirtTime
You now sound just like stormy/farfromhome/and his other personalities. That was his schpeal. Your grammar and sentence structure is better thought. Not to worry, all those drugs will soon be legal!
ADK Native
More information and it gets worse: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-to-take-a-flurry-of-actions-on-gun-control/ar-BB1fpatf?ocid=mailsignout&li=BBnb7Kz The article states “President Biden on Thursday will announce a half-dozen executive actions focused on curbing gun violence, including regulations on home-assembled firearms and the nomination of a gun-control advocate to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.” Take note of the fact that Biden is he seeks the “nomination of a gun-control advocate to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.” Would not a criminologist with a expert background in gun violence serve the American people better than a “gun-control advocate”? The article states “That’s why we are pursuing an agenda that will address not only mass shootings, but also community violence disproportionately affecting Black and Brown Americans, domestic violence and suicide by firearm.” Has any of the gun control experts ever considered that the majority of gun violence is linked to the distribution, sale and use of illegal drugs, and the failed mental health care system?

DirtTime
It was nothing compared to what he wanted. he was met with resistance from both parties so being realistic those orders made no difference to the average hunter. There's going to be more meetings with both parties on a bunch of things that I am starting to doubt will see the light of day. He's not going to get away with his full plans just like most of us with any common sense knew he wouldn't. Not every gun owner goes nuts with knee jerk reactions every time there's a whisper in the wind.
Grouse
After seeing Clinton pass an "assault weapons" ban during his presidency, only to have it repealed as completely ineffective with regards to crime, one would think Democrats would know it will only affect responsible gun owners. Yet they persist with the plan to disarm as many responsible gun owners as they can at every opportunity. Time is on their side and they are hoping most responsible gun owners stop paying attention.
phantom
The left just keeps making crazy gun laws and red tape out their backside until something sticks and eventually the laws get so crazy and complex or expensive most will just give up trying to get a gun legally that's their strategy . but criminals will always get them anyway just like drugs .
