Acorns?

This years gypsy month infestation is the worst in decades. Late June and these oaks are barren. Can't imagine they will produce any acorns this year. Pics are from the Watkins Glen area. I hope other areas of the state haven't been hit as hard.

Most.oaks inthis area lost their blossoms this spring to abnormal cold weather as did most.apples.  gypsy moths can kill large.oaks if stripped.of.all leaves a couple of times

The oaks in the pics that I posted in June have leafed out and are starting to look "normal".
