I move a pa stand last weekend to the atv trail with apple trees, they are absolutely loaded this year.

They are loaded on top of the hill but absent at bottom ,may snow and cold did lower valley apples in this a small orchard I planted in 97 and its loaded.

Trees here in the Champlain Valley are loaded, but not in Central Vermont.  I imagine it's a result of cold/snow, as you suggested.  The few apples I did find over there are also tiny, probably from lack of moisture early on.

Top of the hill, at 2000 feet, apples are loaded.  Got 3 hangers and 2 ladders I still need to put up, at least 2 will be one some apples.  Nothing like a big fat doe in early season that has been pigging out on apples.

The old orchard on the farm is loaded with apples this year. We hunt the trails going to and from them. But most times the deer feed there after dark.
