DirtTime
I started picking my nose again, and wiping on all of my brush blinds. If schmucks want to use them I hope they get a handful. Next year I may upgrade to pooping in bags and leaving it in the blinds. We had a few really great camping trips over the Spring, Summer, and fall. camped a few places we had not been too. Fishing was pretty good, what I did of it anyway. I planned out a primitive camping trip in the ADK's for last May. Had a guy drive up from PA and another from CNY come up and we had a great trip camping on a lake. I got some turkey hunting in that Saturday morning and even though I didn't hear or see a bird I loved just being out trying for a turkey where there aren't a lot of turkeys. Broke in a new tent on that trip, cooked some great food over the campfire, talked about knives, hunting, hiking, a little about guns- two of guys don't hunt, and just enjoyed being away from everything. Frogs and peepers screamed all night making the first night odd to sleep, but the second night it was like music. Our week at the cabin was great. I hunted all 5 days that we were there for the full day, fished a bit in the afternoons using a stick and some line, hiked a few afternoons, and visited my wife's favorite shop up there.

I did a couple primitive camping trips this year as well in the Catskills. Definitely enjoyed them and will be back at come the spring.
TreeGuy
Are you kidding......I got to take my son out for his first season deer hunting, with my father by our side for every second, on a great friend's amazing property and make FOREVER memories. I'll never forget 2021, for all the right reasons. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk

The_Real_TCIII
Ive had a pretty great 2021. Killed a big tom, fishing was awesome all winter and then a trophy brown in the Delaware thanks to Chef being so generous with his spots (can we just ban him permanently already?). Fished lots of new streams too which I love. Crappyice shared a spot on the Beaverkill, lets ban him too actually! I fished in Denver and Florida as well. Work travel went from 70 air segments to 35 so I was home a lot. What a blessing that was for the last year I have my twins home before college! Deer season has been good to me with three does and would have had a nice buck if I did my part, and its not over yetI left off the striper fishing with the SENY crew and also caught a bluefin tuna amongst a pod of whales! What a yearSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
