Hi - I live in the Adirondack Park, near Saranac Lake, and moved here from Plattsburgh, NY. I moved to Plattsburgh, NY while still in the Air Force and retired in 1988 after 20+ years of service. I built our retirement home in the Adirondack Park and the 4 acres I own, is on and surrounded by a 110,000 acre parcel called the Santanoni Section.

I love to hunt and use a bow, muzzleloader, shotgun and rifle. Fishing is also one of my favorite past time! Have hunted in Germany, Spain, Nebraska, Florida, Kentucky and New York.

It's a very large areas, big whitetails with big racks...BUT...hard to hunt. No trails, lots of mountains, and no people. I remember on drag took me about 6 hours...up and down and up....
