agross
Was just wondering if anyone has been up turkey hunting this past week or so and if they have heard any gobbles. I know it seems to be quiet this year (i was up May 2 and 3 and didnt hear a single gobble). Planning on going up this Saturday and Sunday for one last attempt to get my first bird of my life but this season seems to be stacked against me. Thanks. mbucks27
Havent been up to chenango this year for turkeys but i was also hunting in 4g last weekend. on saturday i had about 5 different birds gobbling but they wouldnt come in b/c i believe they were with hens. Also heard them gobbing at first light on sunday but they were on property that i didnt have permission to go on and too far away to call them to me. Going back up this weekend and i will be back at it in the morning. Good luck to everybody still out there. John
HTRedneck
This week has been very good in Tompkins county. Think the hens are finally leaving the Toms so they may be on the look for action....
