In my stand at my dad's with my daughter. Shes pretty excited.

shot this 10 point on the evening of wed 11/09, as he was dogging two doe's. He scored 136 1/8 and field dressed at 208 pounds. This is my best buck i've shot and my daughter was as excited as i was.

I was just wondering what were some of the oddest things you have seen in the woods deer hunting. (Got the idea after watching rerun of primos where guy had bucks chasing does and then fight nuder his stand) THings like fights, mating, deer sounds etc etc Best i can think of that i ever saw was in Pennsylvania one year while bow hunting just inside woodline i saw a smallish 5 pt get chased off of a doe by a big spike / small fork. The 5 got real pissed and then proceeded to make numerous rubs and scrapes on the other edge of the field. Other than that i just usually see deer walking by on trails or hauling A during gun season.

Pretty slow going the rut was really werid this year but we still have some time don't give up yet!!Good luck!

I hate those people who tip toes the law. I don't agree with any of it but he tip toed it while you unfortunately corssed it. It sucks because he sort of baited you into it. I feel bad for you and your son and I hope you get your stuff back. I also hope you busted his face real good.

Im a magnett for ticks,for some reason even sprays dont work.Ican tell you this i have lymes and is not fun.There are alot of ticks where i hunt usually take multiple off every time i go out.

Very serious i don't like to have the same thing as everybody else.And im going to see about shooting a few types of bow's before i go any buy one!

I may write one but then still forget to look at it in the morning lol,I normally have everything out and ready to go the night before that way im set for the morning!

I do and then I still forget something. Sometimes I forget the list.

Now heres a story for the recors me and my buddy went into the woods around 6 yes very early but i had a feeling this cold weather is really going to kick things up a lil>so we sat there and after about 3 hours we started to gget cold and wet and we were going to leave,,So my buddy lights up a cig,,and i tell him man you blew are chances of getting a deer they can smell that blaa blaa blaa..well before that smoke even went out a little 3 pointer lol come crashing threw the thicker parts of the woods,,And my buddy shot it i didnt really wanna take em but he did we were on his land so it was out of my hands..It just got me that every one spends all this time and money in keeping there hunting gear clean and scent free and my buddy never really cared about it he gets a deer before me..But i did let a bigger 4 walk because im still hoping to get something better but hey cool story and it was his first buck!!
