  3. Remember that it is only a deer. Your life is probably not going to change very much if you get one. All too often people lose their minds it seems when gun season rolls around and they see a deer. Relax, enjoy yourself, and be aware of your surroundings. Make your first shot your best.

  4. Bill will be introduced again next year. The minority NYB's will fight it. Hopefully the legislature will listen to what the majority want.

  11. I sat out in the rain for a couple of hours tonight. This nice mature doe came out onto the field @ 5:40...I watched her for 10 minutes hoping a big buck would show up. Finally, she offered me a 10-yd. chip shot that I couldn't pass up. The Rocket Steelhead zipped through her like she wasn't even there, taking out both lungs and exiting through the heart. She made it 50 yds and piled up...

  12. I was planning on getting up this Friday but that's not happening as per Sandy. I live on the south shore of long island which got pounded. Went on this morning for a recon mission for my boat. People thought it was a good idea to pull there boats out of the water and put them up on blocks in the marinas, well with a 10+ surge of water those boats went floating down the residential blocks onto people's yards, porches, gardens, and where ever they came to rest. In my marina that holds about 400 boats about 50 people left theirs in. Of those 50 was mine and not one bit of damage. Seems if you kept your boat in and tied it up right, the boat would make it thru. I will post some pics later when I have better internet service.

  16. i never saw a date best used by on one of those but...... what have you got to lose? add some doe pee...your pee....or a bit of water and hang it out..... it may work or it may not but if it does work...... market it and we can work out the profit end of the sale. honestly im not sure but like ive said i am no deer biologist i personaly have not tried to use one that old but at the same time i guess if i still had one laying about from last season.....i would give it a try. best of luck to ya and let us know how it turns out for ya.

  18. Got this buck Saturday morning. Was cruising through the timber at first light before turning and coming into the brassica plot I was sitting over. He walked straight into my stand and freezes at 12 yards. He started to test the wind and get nervous. After what felt like forever he turned and took two steps to his right, and I drew back and cut it loose. I heard the shot hit and he wheeled to run, and just as he got out of sight I heard him crash. Shot came in high but in at a sharp downward angle and he barely made it out of the plot.

  22. It's a tribal warning... The Kensico is a sacred hunting ground of the FUZZYBUMPER tribe, a tribe of primitive lesbian Amazons. If they catch you there they'll dress you up in leather, engineer boots and a chain drive wallet and lock you up in a mud hut as a love slave.

  24. You can't deny this. You also never answered this question. So you claim I have issues for pointing out the truth stated in the article? You are right - responding without facts is a waste of your time.

  25. I'm 51 and have no trouble getting a deer out long distances... the only reason you aren't physically able is if you let yourself go and aren't in shape or have a disability... My good friend Jim Massett the adirondack tracker is 73 and still hunts miles in the woods alone... I doubt there is a young guy that I know that could keep up with him...
